@eythan07 Thanks!

@arioz1 I made the circuit on perfboard. It's a pretty straight forward perf build, as any fuzz face usually is. I don't have access to a laser printer so I don't use pnp blue or acid. I just set up the board in diy layout creator, basically following the schematic layout, and put it together. Any more Qs, let me know.

Did you make the PCB yourself ?

How did you added a tone control and a switch?
Pacyuchina 11 months ago
@Pacyuchina I essentially added a DAM Meathead Deluxe tone control that fades between two cap values (4.7uf and .0068uf). When setting this up make sure the center lug of the 100kB pot goes to the smaller cap value.
The switch is a DPDT that has the stock Fuzz central value cap mounted to it (0.22uf) and the tone control on the other side. If the switch is flipped to the single cap value you disable the tone control, but get a different emphasis of midrange harmonics.
Good luck!

i love the hendrix graphic on your enclosure there. can i ask how you went about doing that?
erickliban2 11 months ago
@erickliban2 Sure.
First I designed my graphic on photoshop CS5 (with dimensions taken into account). Then I print it out on a piece of paper. Cut and tape a piece of Inkjet waterslide decal over the print. Print again.
Then I put 2-3 LIGHT clearcoats on with Krylon clear spray paint. Let dry for an hour or two. Cut to size. Soak it in some water and place it on the pedal.
Then I clearcoat this until there is some build up of clear (3-4 heavy). Let it dry for a few days and put it together!
