2007 is going to go out with a bang, literally!

I was going to use my Boston Globe to review what sort of weather the New England has had in 2007 but that's been thrown out of the window by one heck of an Atlantic depression that is going to slam into the New England on the one day of the year when everyone hopes for a cold night. New Year's Eve.

Already, it's had an effect. Boston's celebrations have been cancelled. New York and Hardford CT are in doubt and even DC is monitoring conditions as well.

And just how bad could it be? Well, according to the Weather Channel forecast for Boston, the sustained wind speed at 1300 EST today will be 46 mph (and that's the SUSTAINED wind
