Great review! I was wondering if you know any department stores that sell this product? I would prefer purchasing it at a store rather than online. Thanks!

I use Zorac ( a retinoid), you can get it on prescription from your GP. It is a retinoid, which is much more effective than retinol, and works much faster. In Australia, i can get Zorac for just under $40 AUD, so its really inexpensive. I use to suffer from acne, and Zorac had helped to clear it up. It also refined the texture of my skin, and helped to lighten up my freckles and sunspots (being a super fair asian, i'm very prone to pigmentation problems).

Use Differin gel, it's cheaper, less irritation, more effective and is a newer and better Vitamin A derivative than retinol.

Hi, I've been using the skinceuticals pigment regulater for some sun damage i'm trying to treat and i am seriously impressed with it, it has even out my skin in only about 3 weeks of using it. you wouldn't want to use it if you are in the sun this summer, which i am not, but otherwise, even though its expensive, i will still buy it.
thank you for this review.

I use a product called Nuxe Etincelante Radiance Resurfacing Cream which is amaazing and does not have any harsh acids but instead exfoliates with fruit acids. Has done wonders for my once congested marked skin.

I found this product from Origin and is called "the perfect world" it is white tea skin guardian, you may give them a trial, it is amazing and leaves your skin smooth and soft, I love it.
Hi, thanks so much for this review, I found it very useful. I recently purchased the skinceuticals retinol 0.5 refining night cream. The directions say "When using Retinol you must use a broad-spectrum sunscreen". Should this be applied right after the retinol cream (even though it's a night cream?)? Or in the morning after washing the retinol night cream off? It's not very clear. I'd be interested to knwo how you applied it. Thanks again!

@Shoobles1 My advice and experience would be to apply the retinol at night so that during sleeping the optimum time for your skin to renew itself with the retinol can work at its best. Given this overnight action on your face, the skin will reveal a new skin surface which will need to be protected from the sun the next day, so apply the SPF in the morning the next day.
