Be sure to watch in 1080p for the best effect! I just got a small school of ember tetras, and their red color really stands out against the plants well. I also just put in a new co2 injection system, so the plants should start perking up. Questions? Just ask. The camera is a Canon Vixia HF S10. It was shot in 24 Mbps, widescreen with no digital effects and on auto white balance. The bulbs over the tank are HO t5 bulbs with a color spectrum centered on 10,000k. So all you light/tech nerds can be happy :)

  • What type of foreground plants were you using in the front?

  • @XXGOLDENXXDRAGONXX

    Lilaeopsis brasiliensis

  • Nice planted aquarium but from what it looks like those angels were tormenting that betta. Black tetras or phantoms are also notorious for being fin nippers.

  • @sepehrfarzaneh

Yeah it looks like that, but they pay absolutely no attention to it 99.9% of the time. In this instance they weren't tormenting him, they all just got caught in the strong current from my fluval 305.

  • great tank

how do u keep ure plants so well mine just dont grow and then die after about a month should i feed them?

    what do you do?

  • @77Joedude I add dry fertilizer (just search for aquarium fertilizer on a search engine) and inject co2 from a compressed cylinder.

  • very nice tank, is it just me or do those ember tetas look huge? haha aren't they suppose to be like top 3 cm (a bit longer than an inch?) anyway, great quality, great to see a pro tank :) do they school as good as, say cardinals or rummy noses? i adore rummy noses caus they school all the time! :3

  • The best tank ever

How many gallons is it?? That Betta is very lucky he's got so much space and places to hide. You are obviously a pro fish keeper. Whoever made the comment of calcium with fish nipping please back it up and Bettas don't instantly die if they are nipped unless it is severe

  • @Svilajnac1

You sir are wrong, I have a Betta with my Neon Tetra's and they're perfect.

  • Thats the perfect environmental for the tetras, great work!

  • @Svilajnac1: You actually believe fin-nippers nip fins because they are looking for a source of Calcium (Ca)?! That's ridiculous. Can you cite this or back it up with any evidence?

  • @Svilajnac1

Actually quite the contrary, the beta is doing great and his fins are all in perfect shape. He's with even more tetras now, and they don't pay him any attention.
