This video continues to discuss how to teach a young horse to neck rein and pivot. It is part of the Fundamental Training of a Horse video.

In this set of videos, basic ground work, longing and handling methods are demonstrated, as well as numerous suppling and basic training maneuvers are shown to develop quiet, broke horses.

  • what kind of bit are you using?

  • @horselover101x For this video the presenter is using a basic snaffle bit to show several training aids and procedures. Most young horses are started out in a snaffle bit.

  • @autumnobuchowski hahaha! yeahm it works great! my latest analogy was: problem with riders these days is that they learn how to ride but they dunno zit about how a horse works! it's the same as a pro mountain biker who doesn't know how to tune his own bike's breaks or get a loose chain back in place! he's not gonna get far before breaking himself or the bike! (or both)
