Just an update. After posting last week I emailed Gerber about the clip falling off. I received in the mail today two replacement clips free of charge. I didn't even have to pay any shipping. The new clips seem tighter and will likely last longer. Now that's good business.

I've been carrying the EAB lite for about 3 months now. I love it except that the clip fell off. It would fall off occasionally and I would just stick it back on. This worked until a few weeks ago when it fell off and I couldn't find it. I plan on emailing Gerber and letting them know, I'm sure they'll send me a replacement clip with no problem. Other than that it's a great EDC. I used to EDC a hefty SOG Tanto. It was a rugged knife, but I like the compactness of the EAB.

Just ran across your channel very cool, I’ve been carrying my Gerber EAB for the past 2+yrs and love it, it’s an awesome EDC option and have been raving about it since day one. It’s like nothing to carry, super light, very slim, love it great video.

I like your videos!!!! I recently purchased the Gerber EAB Lite and like the tool much. However, while trying to put in 14 bills in the clip, the clip broke. I hope Gerber or the retail store in which i purchased will replace the item
Great review. Do yourself a favor and buy a pack of Lennox BiMetal Gold razor blades. Un-breakable and they'll last you a few months of EDC use.
Lennox is the same company that makes Irwin blades which are my second favorite.
Also, if your looking for a wicked tool, you can pick up serrated razor blades at the hardware store... But I have not found them overly useful for EDC.

@jermlac - Good tip I actually found and switched to those after doing this video. You are correct they are the best blades I have found and the slightly higher cost is easily off set by the longer life per blade.

Thanks for the review! I have a Husky as part of my EDC, and you're right.....it is too bulky and heavy. I like this Gerber EAB, but would like it even more if it had some sort of a lanyard hole. Maybe I can rig something up when I get mine.

@willyzook The clip is pretty stout so that could work but it isn't 100% that it won't come off, but pretty decent. With a good drill press and punch you could drill a hole in one of the corners. Job for a drill press though, nothing free hand. Then you could add a split ring. Not a bad idea!

There is another blade attachment method on those folding husky knives in Canada that works much better. It locks in much tighter and isn't going elsewhere. I'll see about making a video of mine and I'll attach it to this video.
I personally don't like razor knives for EDC, IMHO a utility knife belongs in a tool box but to each their own.
★★★★★ video Jack!

@rooftopeagle - I would like to see your video but I do not get why you feel a razor knife is not a good EDC tool. It saves the blade of your main knife, it is always sharp, it takes up little space (especially this one), it creates redundancy, it is perfectly suited to intricate tasks, it serves multiple functions. What else could one want from an EDC tool?
