There was a lot of blood supply in the wound area and fresh tissues were forming up. Good sign! Usual treatment was given except this time when cleaning the wound, the vet used ordinary antiseptic solution instead of H2O2. I hope I am correct in this, as H2O2 will make Alera feel painful. There was no smell or pus at the wound area either and that's really make all of us relieve. He urinated before going to the vet this afternoon and the urine was light yellowish and kind of transparent too :)
She's getting better yay ^^ I'm so glad~ Alera has such tolerence its amazing. He hasn't attacked anyone for it so he must know that this is to help him not hurt him. Such a smart, brave boy Alera is~

Oh the leg looks much better! The tissue is healthy looking. Can they do a graft to cover the exposed area? Pale urine is good as the lighter the color the more hydrated a patient. Take care!!

I'm so glad to hear the vet say that there's a blood supply. That is such a good sign. Had it been gangrene, most likely, the leg would have to be amputated, due to the fact that the gangrene will spread quickly to other places. But that is NOT the case! More healing thoughts and prayers coming your way.

Thanks for the update!!! Will he need tissue transplantation or will the wound heal all by itself? How are you Thomas? Feeling better?
