@1Sunrose - I used to do the same thing... try to create shadow with greys and black. Then I learnt that shadow actually comes in all different colors too. Grays tend to dull your colors where as using color for shadow creates much brighter paintings overall. Glad you've found this series useful.

I Ilike how you used green and color for shadow. I try to gray down my color with black, I never like it and end up painting back to the point before I went that dark. I guess it looks too harsh. Anyway, thanks for the videos I did learn some (new to me ) ideas.
