In Alaska's Bristol Bay, salmon is at the heart of the natural ecosystem and the lives of people who live here. In this audio slideshow, photographer Clark James Mishler shares his experiences along the Nushagak River while photographing projects for The Nature Conservancy. Mishler shares stories and photos of people such as Elia Ishnook and Mae Syvrud, giving the viewer an intimate look into the lives of those who live in the wild salmon universe of Bristol Bay.
