I think A-Mei is Beinan/Puyuma. I found part of her version of Naruwan, which I have posted over at The Asian Wave. Actually, it's a welcome to Taiwan commercial that uses her and her version of the song. :)

Doesn't A-Mei sing this at the beginning of one of her songs...I think on the Brave album?

I don't know, maybe. A-Mei is also from one of the Tribes, Ami ... maybe? There are 13 recognized tribes in Taiwan.
