@therrydicule Its just a sparkly 4th gen fighter. Same as the super hornet. its much better, but we need a 5th gen.

@mattman1941 The newest Russian jet is very good as well, im tired of all this 'oh know its the russians' for the price of theirs with the same amount we are spending, we could prob get almost double the amount. India already jumped onboard them russian ones.

There are also concerns about the structural integrity, the afterburner burning parts of the aircraft, and airframe itself is developing cracks.
Maybe Canada should have gone for the Super Hornet, the Eurofighter Typhoon, or the Dassault Rafale. Any of those would be better. And we wouldn't have to mortgage ourselves to the States.
Please rethink the purchase Canada. I know there is a lot deal of money in it, but is that worth risking the safety of our pilots and the sovereignty of our north?

How bout we make our own fighters.. would create jobs and wouldnt have to depend on other countries for fighters
