Jerome Pradon's scenes in the BBC/PBS film The Aristocrats. I apologize for the terrible video/audio quality, but this was the best I could do. I'm sorry it's barely watchable.
TRANSCRIPT OF THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN DUC DE LAUZUN AND SARAH:
At the gambling table, France.
Sarah: I do not count the costs.
Duc de Lauzan: Bravo. There is no dishonor in losing. It is proof that one has risked all.
On the sofa, France.
Sarah: My nephew would be proud of me.
Duc de Lauzan: Your nephew?
Sarah: My sister Caroline's son. (not sure what she says after this)
Duc de Lauzan: The parliamentarian!
Sarah: The gambler.
Duc de Lauzan: (not sure what he says at first)... of your king. This, I admire. I am a passionate supporter of the English constitution. All my life, I have loved your country.
Sarah: You have been there?
Duc de Lauzan: It is my intention.
Sarah: Take care. You may find yourself disappointed.
Duc de Lauzan: I find most things improve upon acquaintance.
Sarah: I find the opposite.
Duc de Lauzan: Your husband has retired for the night?
Sarah: He is readily bored.
Duc de Lauzan: You will permit me to visit you when I come to England?
Sarah: You may visit my brother.
Duc de Lauzan: I would not expect of him, what I hope for from you. I wager you, I shall not disappoint.
On another sofa, talking about Sarah's sisters, England.
Duc de Lauzan: And are they all like you?
Sarah: No. Caroline is clever. Emily is a mother to me. Louisa is an angel. And Cecilia is a child.
Duc de Lauzan: And what are you, Lady Sarah?
Sarah: I think I am a disappointment.
In a cottage, England.
Duc de Lauzan: You give me nothing!
Sarah: You do not understand.
Duc de Lauzan: You promise one thing and do another!
Sarah: I have a husband.
Duc de Lauzan: Whom you love?
Sarah: This is England. I was not allowed to choose my husband... (not sure what she says after this)
Duc de Lauzan: Do you tell him about our meetings?
Sarah: No.
Duc de Lauzan: I did not think so... You take the guilt, and refuse the pleasure... Come...
FYI: As of two weeks ago, the Ovation television station was showing THE ARISTOCRATS. I actually managed to catch the two parts which feature Jerome! Unfortunately, I don't have the proper equipment to record from my tv, so I could not upload a better version of his scenes. But, if you get the Ovation channel, keep your eyes open for this mini-series!

You're welcome:-) That was my thought, as well... I know that this film can be difficult to find (I found it at the library, and somebody attempted to burn Jerome's scenes to a disc for me, and this was the result, lol). So, I, too, figured that this poor-quality copy is better than nothing.
And, of course, I agree with you about Jerome Pradon being very attractive:-)
