very interesting language. I was under the impression that Occitan was a dialect of French, but listening to this video makes me realise that there's a tangible difference in the sound of the two tongues.

A big shame for those who abandoned Occitan Language and also a big shame for French govt who is still doing their evil Linguicide against Occitan and Even though French govt. try hard to make this language extinct,Occitan will survive!For history,Occitan has given contributions to many Romance Languages e.g. Portuguese use Occitan style alphabet.
