how do i make my own building?
-
@escalatorgeek881 thank you

@escalatorgeek881 That is my first building project, and i got done with all the floors, windows, but however haven't installed the walls for the elevator shafts, I'm still trying to figure that out.

@irwinw2010 Why would you have the top floors as skylobbies. Skylobbies are supposed to be where you transfer to local elevators that lead to your floor. You access the skylobbies by express elevators from the ground level. Skylobbies are only necessary in buildings 50 floors and above, where having the express train system (all banks leading from ground level to a set of floors) becomes inefficient and a waste of space.

wat is this game about?

@bmwfanz It was originally intended as a building simulator. However, it caught the interest of many elevator enthusiasts and the simulator is now skewed towards elevators.

I'm making a 35 story office building called the Rogerton Plaza. Floor -1 is Basement 1, -2 is SB, which is Sub Basement. The basement levels is where storage is kept at. Floor 0 is the Ground Floor, The main floor where they check in and wait until the person is called. Floor 1 is M, which is Mezziane which has a restaurant, Floor 2 is the 2nd which has an acrade, Floors 3 to 33 are offices, and Floors 34 and 35 are skylobbys.

@irwinw2010 ...Skylobbies usually serve 30 - 50 floors. For example, you access floors 2 - 49 from the ground level, floors 51 - 99 from the 50th floor skylobby, and you access floors 100 - 144 from the 100th floor skylobby. You might also have two-story lobbies and skylobbies for a double-deck elevator system, and this set up is even more efficient and space-saving, although it is more expensive.
