HEY GUYS PLEASE ACTUALLY READ THE DESCRIPTION AND THE THREAD LINKED BELOW BEFORE ARGUING ABOUT IRRELEVANT FACTORS LIKE WHETHER OR NOT IT'S A GLITCH, thank you.

The attacking character is supposed to be invincible until they recover after a team aerial counter, but certain conditions allow you to bypass that.

More info: http://shoryuken.com/forum/index.php?threads/comboing-off-team-aerial-counter...

Wesker clips to show that Xfactor isn't the only relevant speed boost. Chun clips to show that it's not based on the time it takes for your character to recover. Felicia clips just because.

Works with: Jill, Wesker (No glasses), Morrigan, Felicia, Firebrand (With or without Luminous Body), Strider, Vergil, Dark Phoenix, Wolverine (Berserker Charge), Storm, and Iron Man.

  • This isn't a glitch. It was announced on one of Capcom's change logs. Do people not read these things?

  • @GarudaPSN Cool, please link me to these change logs because I could've sworn I'd read them before release as well. Don't care whether or not you consider it a glitch though. It's something that only works under very specific circumstances with a small portion of the cast so it's either implemented poorly or it's unintentional. Either way I haven't seen the information anywhere else, so you're welcome I guess.

  • @GarudaPSN What you're remembering was the early mistranslated version of the changelog. The actual change listed in the log was making the window for countering the TAC larger.

  • @GalaxYSmokaH4Trilli0 Agreed. It amounts to no risk, high reward for your opponent if they opt for a 1-in-3 chance route instead of going for a more creative and difficult combo. It just doesn't make sense that you're not rewarded for choosing the right direction.

And as cool as your discovery is, its so situational (character dependent + xfc before a TAC combo). I hope just as much as you do for Capcom to remove the invincibility from a TAC counter!

  • @EviltoasterofFP Hey, mister: If capcom OFICIALLY ANNOUNCED IT AS A WORKING FEATURE, it's not a glitch. Also, read the video description "The attacking character is supposed to be invincible until they recover after a team aerial counter, but certain conditions allow you to bypass that." This was correct in vanilla. Not anymore.

  • @onevietnamese I think its stupid you cant hit a character after you counter TAC them. I've been in so many situations where I counter TAC and my opponent is falling and I just want to hit them so bad because it only makes sense! I think its stupid you cant do anything and Capcom should patch that in. Other wise this is basically a glitch if some characters can do it but others cant. Makes no sense!

  • I wish they made this possible with all characters with no special circumstances. TACs are probably my most hated thing about this game.

  • @GarudaPSN You don't even understand what's going on here. I doubt that Capcom planned for only some characters under certain conditions are able to achieve this. This was 'confirmed' to be true and untrue several times before release.

And don't act like the OP is stupid saying things like 'do people not read these?' etc.

  • this is not a glitch already , people can follow up .
