  • care0525 Me too. I think about my dad when I hear a song that I know he would have loved. So I talk to him in heaven. My dad was a norteno from Mexico. When he came to the states he was a bootlegger a rufian and a

lover. My mom a socialite and refined woman. So I had classical as well as a great variety of music. My family members are musicians as well. Thank you every day pops!

  • I had an differnce of opinion w/some musicians. They say you can only sing what you know. For me when you have soul you have it no matter what you sing or in whatever language. Linda is proof of that!

  • she's great!!!

  • I find that Linda never was better than at this time in her 40's when she and her voice had reached such a great maturity to give these heartbreaking mariachi-songs a feeling that could be topped no more further!

  • She's actually put out a few spanish language albums, singing old mariachi songs that her father used to love. Look up anything from the album, "Canciones de mi Padre"

  • this song makes my skin to shiver.I mean, me eriza la piel nomas de escuchar estas canciones tan apasionadas. My entire body trembles when I listen these songs.

  • Her father is hispanic. She's amazing.
