It's April 2010 and the birds are back in town. They have flocked to the high cliffs at Flamborough in their thousands. Gannets, puffins, Fulmars, Guillemots, Razor Bills, to name but a few. Busy building their nests, the birds, take grass and mud from the hill side whilst others participate in making babies. Puffins continue to delight and enthrall visitors to Bempton. I only wish there was smell-a-vision. The noise, smells and sights are a wonder to behold. If you love nature and especially seabirds, Bempton is worth a visit. Recommended eatery in Flamborough itself is "The North Star" who serve fantastic meals. In Whitby there's the famous Magpie Cafe, but back to Bempton and there is an Ethical Food catering van outside the Visitor Centre. Also two feeding stations. Plenty of car parking, helpful and friendly wardens and a great bunch of regular visitors and photographers.
