The similarities between the Reichstagbrand and 9/11 aren't about the casualties. It's about the fact that Hitler came into power only a few months before the Reichstagbrand and Bush came into power only a few months before 9/11. 9/11 could perhaps be better related to the Pearl Harbor Attacks.
