@WillSmithsMom It didn´t need to be a Backdraft.Also a Flashover can be deathly.But Why they don´t pull hte Ladder a bit away and continue Spraying water at the Roof...? There is enough Space between Buildung und Ladder ?

Thick black smoke means that there is a very angry fire somewhere in that building.

@Jet3800 really thick heavy black smoke is usually an indication that there is potential for a backdraft

you are so wrong i lived in that house when it happened there is no attic what are you talking about it was in my apartment and the dogs are mine there pugs

the wiring for all the elctrical outlets were all old and outdated and the amount of electricity that was running to the breaker and out was too much.

the wiring in that hous was bad.....like i said be fore the landlord was notified mulitple times of this and did nothing except to say that it was fine.

my friend lived iin that house and lost everything he now lives next door to me, when i heard about that fire i was amazed.

that building was transformed into an apartment building. 3 floors. and the attic was an apartment itself.

White is USUALLY a signal that water vapor is present. Darker smoke is USUALLY a signal that organics with no water is present.
