Spanish is the Loving Tongue

Laura and Brian sing "Spanish is the Loving Tongue", written in 1915 by Charles Badger Clark. The song was originally written as a poem under the title, "A Border Affair" and published in the Pacific Monthly in June of 1907.
The song was recorded by Bob Dylan in 1969 with solo piano, but was not released until 1971 as the "B" side to "Watching The River Flow". He has since recorded it in several different versions.
It's also been recorded by Charlie Daniels, Joan Baez, Emmylou Harris, Michael Martin Murphy, Bill Staines, Judy Collins, Chad Mitchell Trio, Freddy Fender, Limelighters, Kingston Trio, Ian & Sylvia, Katie Lee, Milt Okun, James Keelaghan and Oscar Lopez, Ronnie Gilbert (the Weavers), Liam Clancy, and others.
The video was shot by Karen Elder after Christmas 2009 in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
