yup, if palm pre is better, dev team will work along side with apple to make the iphone the best phone in the world. the iphone is better when jailbroken. a lot better.

yeah, but again, you gain nothing by playing a high resolution movie on a low resolution display, there ara only so many pixels it can display.

Actually loading videos do have a lot to do with phone hardware, the CPU on Palm Pre is 200Mhz faster than iPhone 3GS AND it's capable of doing 720P HD.

whats the point of having HD support when the device is equiped with the same resolution as the iPhone?

Eventually you can hack the device to get the HD support. The underlying linux of Palm can let you do that.
