@LastXdeth No shit you can eat alligator meat. I've literally BEEN TO THIS PLACE before. A pound of gator leather sells for a hundred times more than gator meat. The meat is a useful biproduct, but the leather is what they're farmed for.

@1982FMJ While the video may appear for these gators to be cramped, the breeding ponds and growout pens are actually incredibly large areas. My last visit there, Bob was kind enough to let me go into the incubator and look at the eggs. It's astounding to know that EAF has a 98% survival rate for alligators to reach adulthood! In the wild, this is less than 2%. I suggest checking out more materials on alligator farms, and there effects on alligator population before making more assertions.
