Wheel of Fortune - some goof accidentally solves puzzle!

Oh wait...that goof is me! And Happy 15th Anniversary to Me for my 15 minutes of fame, as this show was taped on 2/24/1995 and aired on 3/10/1995.

There seems to be some lack of understanding of the rules of the speed round. If you guess a letter correctly you have 5 seconds to solve it, meaning that you can spout out as many guesses as you want in those 5 seconds. That's why I was able to make multiple guesses. I hope that clears things up.

Anyway, ratings soared so high after this moment, that CBS was able to buy a new letterboard for Vanna to just touch the letters. That's what happens when you have a stud like me on the show. Just kidding.

This is from sometime in March 1995. For some reason, they had a buttload of 6-8 letter puzzles in the last rounds. Shortest I've seen was SCRAM. (Which also led to a funny moment when, with SCR__ showing in the category Slang, an old lady guessed W.)
