Now you just need a youtube account called ''FluidDragon'' And you'll have yourself a intro :P
-
nice
-
how long did this take to render?
-
This looks like what would happen if you shot a RPG at a dragon, then it blew up and bled to death.
-
Hell yeah.
-
@EpicActionAnimations Thanks!
-
@Ri4tje You have to render your images to see it.
-
@EpicActionAnimations I see the button, but if I click that only the preview box turns transparent and my fluid stays the same. Why?
-
@Ri4tje In the fluid's material, there's a place to select transparency.
-
In the second animation, how do you get the fluid translucent?

those are some good sites.
3d is a very big genre. your success will depend on time, dedication and talent. the tip I guess I can give is to focus as much as you can on as few things as you can, even if you have talent. But I might be wrong even in that point.

In lieu of a full tutorial, can you just post a process list?
Thanks, this is wonderful!!

I am sorry I still did not do it. But I swear there was a link here with the proccess. Anyway, I updated the decription with the link.
Hopefully, next month I will do it, since I have just one more job to finish and a new computer.

" particles makes no visual difference, but makes everything much slower."
If it is the Generate Particles option you refer to it will not make a visual difference until you create a particle system to render the generated particles. I recommend avoiding the particles as I've had great problems with them myself.

thanks for the tip. I guess I used particles correctly, since I have used them correctly before. But I might be wrong.
But anyway, my experience is the same as yours. I have never seen a blender fluid with particle that would not get worse then without them. It is an interesting option but so far practically useless.
