I was wondering what George thought about ol' Hitchens buying the farm. Like Hitchens, I am an atheist, sometimes even anti-theist but, like Galloway, I oppose the absurdly named "War on Terror", the occupation of Palestine and western meddling in the Middle East. So, I rather like both personalities for different reasons. As to the political change in Hitchens, it seems to me that he let his distaste for religion cloud his understanding of US foreign policy. Of course, thats just a guess.

hitchens only serious mistep was the iraq war- but he indeed was correct in saying that islamic fundamentalism is a real danger- regardless of the misguided and disastrous iraq war!

Galloway is smart..and apparently dangerous as he was refused entry to Canada. Made me sorta happy and disappointed. I'll give him his God since he doesn't seem to ram it down my throat.
