Soon preachers like this will pass off the scene, then who will tell the young people? Lord raise up young men and women who will anguish over lost souls and not their music or entertainment or last nights good times.

There are times when the spirit moves on us in anguish. What wilkerson is saying is we aren't sensitive enough to allow ourselves be moved by Holy Ghost anguish. Wilkerson knows that Nehemiah didn;t live his life in anguish but sensitive to the Lord and felt the anguish of God for his people. Enough so that he fasted and prayed nigh and day. Lord make me sensitive to your Spirit, baptize me with anguish, your burden for your people, that I might get the message out at any cost.

your first thought of anguish is not anguish but a life of depression.

anguish is totally different topic from being just sad or depresed.

lol separation of Church and state... that is nowhere to be found in any founding documents... it's a bad derivation sorry... you can look it up.

it's called "freedom of religion"... meaning you're free to practice religion and not be oppressed ... it wasn't called "freedom from religion"

This is a well timed message to hear in this day. We are now lulled into a sense of complacent behavior and moral mediocrity. I feel this message gets at the core of our need to feel something for someone other then ourselves. The call to anguish is the call to feel for your fellow man as God feels for us.The call is to ACTION from anguish not to wallow in it.That is depression and they are different. Anguish and care should spur us all to action.*Do what proceeded out of your mouth.

@CobaltTiNor Actually the Bible says Christ was a man of sorrows. He anguished over a world, for the most part, that would deny Him and God. Wilkerson is not saying walk around in anguish, he is simply stating that the state of the church today should awaken us since it is obvious time is getting short. It's not all about material things, its about souls.

LOL i'm done... beating around the bush and twisting words leading to confusion, I am not confused.

Point blank your saying that Paul's words override Christ's example. Thank You for your answer.
