Falling Leaf - Student Practice

The APS Flight Instructor is Demonstrating the Falling Leaf, with the Extra 300L in a deep stall, the stick is held aft, and the aircraft is controlled only with the Rudders!

Intructor should be saying, "Use the OPPOSITE rudder to keep the airplane level. I didn't hear him say that even once.

So he kept the attitude up in order to exceed the Angle of attack and cause the stall even though there is enough power? Interesting.

he pus the plane into a "power on stall" then hold the elevaor back to keep the plane in the stall. then the student attempts to keep the wings level using only the rudders. this is to show that during a stall, the alierons have little controll and the rudders must be used to keep the plane level

im not sure what happen there. did u stop the rutter? and he was trying to glide? but it was harder to control
