(Episode 7)
Here are some very interesting questions that I found on the internet regarding Mass Effect. I thought I would try to answer some of these with my ideas/theories so, if you guys feel like you can add to or elaborate on any of the questions, please feel free to. Enjoy!

  • Why do you think that Shepard is Implanted with Reaper Tech? That never even occurred to me. Where would Cerberus even get Reaper tech? The Collectors? And How Would The Illusive Man be Indoctrinated? Please Reply!!!

  • @TheCoolestGeekEver Cerberus has Reaper tech, we know for sure because TIM implants a character with Reaper tech in the 3rd Mass Effect novel. As to where he got it or when he got it, I have no idea. As for TIM, in the Evolution comics, it shows TIM getting "zapped" by a reaper relic back during the First Contact War. This is how his eyes turned blue, he could also "hear" the Reapers after this. This could have indoctrinated him as well. It's still just speculation though.

  • I have to admit, your theory about Shep being implanted with Reaper tech makes logical sense and it's worrying.

  • I was never totally sure about Wilson; I assume he had a crush on Miranda -and perhaps was feeling bitter when she did not return his affections. But then I learned that he was actually a mole for the Shadow Broker. Not sure why he hacked the mechs, exactly.

Oh, and as for Shepard - there was that evil Batarian bartender who tries to poison every human at the bar, and only Shepard survives it....makes you think.....

  • Maybe Shepard got programmed to not ask the question about being brought back

  • @uuiikkll88 Developers stated that ME 3 will explore Shepard's humanity a bit more(in this case him/her being upset over the death of a child), that may have simply been one of these moments, with nothing symbolic to it at all.

  • @Officialhungergames1 The thing about that is, though, those who play a female shepard would get a girl, which would make that incredibly obvious.

  • I think maybe the boy is actually shepard when he was a kid and he keeps like seeing an almost like phsloglically mental figure of him like everywhere he goes

  • In the demo Shepard gets to the Normandy and sees the little boy get onto a shuttle that then gets shot down maybe it foreshadowing? Maybe it is showing that we will get close enough to save the earth but then not be able to.
