hris bliss's juggling skill is crap. The most impressive thing he did was juggle for a long time and not drop. The juggling was not difficult at all and it's not surprising that he did not drop, so it's not that anyone should be amazed that he didn't drop. But if you're looking for the most impressive thing that he did in a routine chock full of unimpressive elements, it would be that he didn't drop. He calls it the big finally. I don't even understand why he juggles at all. His 3 ball skill is fair, good enough to make it three or four minutes without dropping. The world record for juggling 3 balls is over 11 hours, and the most difficult thing about that is staying awake and peeing.

This is pretty low class. Yeah, Jason is very skilled, but Chris is more entertaining, and at the end of the night that's what's more important to the audience. Chris has heart, Jason is just showy and arrogant. Why doesn't he show us he's better by being original, rather than ragging on someone else? Seeing this video has made me lose lot of respect for Jason.
I enjoyed Chris Bliss much more. He was original while this guy is just a cover version. He didn't have the creativity to develop this amazing and entertaining piece. Plus Chris Bliss was performing in front of a live audience on a stage, not a ooh and ahh track and a fake audience clip.
Obviously Chris Bliss is not a "juggler's juggler", and Jason is. But, as a musican, I was more moved by Chris' version. Musical and artistic expression has its own set of difficulties, and I enjoyed seeing Chris' subtle and complex rhythmic creations done through juggling. Jason's is a bit like the classical musician who sneers at a folk singer.
This whole thing reminds me of how my 2 grand daughters behave. Each one trying to out do the other for attention. Watch me grampa! Now, watch ME grampa! Each trying to do better than the other. Each trying to get me to pay more attention to her than her sister. But hey, they're kids. That's what kids do. Looks very much like what Jason is trying to do. Get some of the attention that he's been passed over on. However, I'm pretty confident that the girls will grow out of it.
HAHAHAHAH "this Jason idiot" Yeah....the best juggler in the world probably. No-one could do that routine with five balls and no drops, editing is inevitble...unless of course you do a piss easy routine with three to a song and then hide behind "oh its art!" when people point out that what you do is moronically simple. If hes going to put himself out there juggling and sell it to an audience he should do something challenging. And dont give us the if you get it you'll like it bull. Just weak.
The power and relevance of what Chris Bliss did doesn't rest on the difficulty of what he did, it's the fact that he did it that's powerful. I have no doubt Jason Garfield can do all the tricks Chris did, I have no doubt he can do them to that song, maybe he can even do it better. But he didn't. Chris did. He simply mocked him.
It's not what we CAN do that defines us, it's what we DO do.
Respect to both these performers for what they do, and encouragement to explore what more they can do.
Jason Garfield is the founder of The World Juggling Federation, a juggling competition for juggling as a sport, in its purest form, not with music. He is the holder of world records, and he coaches world record holders. I'd like to see Chris doing an eleven ball flash and a 5 up 360.
