I have been getting so many questions about the EXACT SAME ERRORS that I am not answering anything I have answered before. Read the comments and check the Q&A in the description.
Hey guys its Squeegee and I'm going to make this a series on making a minecraft server. let me just go over the basic questions and answers that people get problems with then they try to do this.

Q: Mine and yours look different, i cant find the pages i need in my router page
A: That sucks dude, try some troubleshooting, this the only thing i really cant explain more, if i made a tut on every router it would take years.

Q: Says something about my lan ip being wrong?
A: Ya i thought so, just go through the IPCONFIG stuff and try some other numbers there, this part is a little different for everybody, trial and error

Q: It says that port is already bound?
A: Restart your modem and try again, make sure you clear anything in the port forwarding section

Q: Nothing seems like it is happening
A: Restart your router manually, by walking over to it, turning it off, and resetting it by hand

Q: When i run my server it says (x) error
A: Watch my next tut, if i dont cover it in that episode, then post your issue there anyway.

Q: server runs fine but people cant connect ;'(
A: Make sure you went to IPchicken and gave them THAT ip, and then double check your steps on the port forward

Q: k yeh did that but they still cant connect
A: ok comment and tell me what error they are getting, what the server console says when you start it and when they try to join

Q: other
A: comment do not pm me unless it takes more than 24 hours

  • umm... no its not easy you did good but you have different settings so everyone probably got stuck on the first step

  • @MrLolbunnykiller Bro it takes very simple problem solving to do it even with a different modem. If you can not handle these basic steps you are not fit to run a server. I honestly can not make a tutorial for other modems, or hold your hand and wipe your ass for you.

  • What does port forwarding DO???

  • @MrFluzzard it makes unicorns come down from the sky. if you dont know what it does, dont u think you shouldn't do it?
