But who would die for a lie. Jesus's apostles - after the death of Jesus - marched far and wide preaching His word - 6 of them were put to death by Crusifiction simply becuase they would not refute Christ. Now if your going to lie about Christ, why would you not just say -- " ok I lied - jesus is not God - please don't kill me"

5 other Aostles died by the sword becuase they also preached Christ as King.

Only one Apostle died of natural causes.

all that for a lie??

Personally I am not one to buy into "conspiracy theories." Also my faith is not in the shroud, but in the scriptures alone. But if I were to wager either way, I'd say the shroud is the real deal.

For those who are non-believers or who have weak faith, they do not see the Bible as the Word of God. For believers, the Bible is the Word of God. Yes, It was written by men, but inspired by the Holy Spirit.

@FreeAgain2 Indeed, and most people know through experience that most men are cowards pretending to be a big bear. I know so many people that wouldnt die for it even if they seen it for themselves and knew without a doubt Jesus was god.

If the Shroud is authentic, Protestanism Bible Alone theology is nullified. Judaism is nullified since they murdered their own Messiah, King of King, Lord or Lords, Son of the Most High. Jews will be exposed for their vileness and evil. Mohammedanism is nullied. He will be seen for what he was, a fraud, child molester, thief, mercenary, and murderer of the innocents, the slave trader, and a vile and evil man, and, finally, satan's agent on this earth to destroy all that is good and holy.

Ok, i want to point out a few things. Firstly you cannot use the bible as a "Factual Piece of Proof" that is just ludacris. There is no Solid evidence of it. Why? The bible was written/altered by how many people? Quite a few... So what usually happens when someone tells someone else a story and then how does that person present the story and so fourth, they tell it in their own way. So basically everytime the bible was written it was changed the bible is man made. Not god...
