  • Oh my goodness...look at the 0:18 mark. I think they pasted Lisa Best over an older "Wicked" girl. You can see her face for a 1/4 of a second before Lisa appears... Looks like this is the 1986 version of an older commercial, guys.

  • yeah, exactly like the panels on a brand new Corvette! Would you call them shit, too? I suppose YOUR car has a 100% rust and corrosion proof body, which is not made up entirely of light weight composites which bolt directly to a space age subframe, like the Fiero was? Sure, I bet!

  • @RetroWinnipeg , You are so right and how did you notice? I do remember the older commerical and the girl as well. It was before the Lisa Best and Brother Jake Edwards (of 92 CITI) era.

  • Nice to see these old commercials, thanks for posting. I'm gonna go take my '88 GT for a spin now! :o)

  • High heals walking on gravel.. nice shot!

    bahahahhaha!!

  • I've always wondered - why is the guy reading a magazine about wagon wheels at the beginning? Good grief he needed some excitement in his life! (I guess that's where the Pontiac came in...)

  • people who say the 84 is shitty are full of shit.... my dads 84 is still going strong to this day...

  • I can't believe the ignorance regarding Fiero and the supposed fire risk. I've seen an F-150 catch fire due to cruise control and so what?! any vehicle fire is going to be sensational! I have 168k miles on my V6 Fiero GT and it's still here! GM had an initial sabotage batch of bad 4cyl in 84, and the wire junction was moved away from the manifold in 85-88. The car outsold Corvette and profitable every year it was made. The problem was GM overproduced 84 model year and saturated the 2 seater mkt

  • I wonder if GM will continue to market the Pontiac in Canada despite it being dropped here in the U.S. after 2009? Wicked!
