This video provides a priceless snapshot of an important moment in board games. In 2000, fully cooperative board games were incredibly rare.
Eyebrows raised, Schwartz removes his glasses and exclaims, "There really is a cooperative nature to the game...!?"
His confused, almost skeptical reaction to Knizia's description of Lord of the Rings is indicative of the reaction shared by gamers worldwide upon the release of this new style of board game.
