I always thought individual experience is one of the factors of make people unique to each other. I mean evem twins sometime think alike but they are not the same person. So what I think is this; yes, the avatar is zoe and she is a real person but no she's not the zoe who die on the train. But even she is a copy of herself that does not make her any less of person.

what are you talking about with different soul...she just a perfect copy of an exact copy of simulated Zoey Graystone..the copy doesn't have the intelligence to think on it own...i think..wait a minute..now you make me more confuse..but it fracking awesome.i love the show

finally saw the entire Caprica pilot!!! wow, well the Zoe stuff was certainly interesting but it didn't quite capture my attn as a central storyline, i think they have to be careful this series can go bad very easily if the balance is off

Zoey's " mind " / programming winds up in the body of the prototype at the end of the pilot. I'm guessing the Cylon becomes unbalanced as a result, maybe the glitsch affects future Cylon programming. If your mind were copied, then transferred into a vessel that looked nothing like the original, living person, that would traumatize you or anybody else it happened to.
