@ZLUGGO Only this, her latest album is preoccupied with war - She's actually NEVER written about war before. You must be a newcomer to her if you think that. Try "To Bring You My Love" which is my personal favourite Polly Harvey album ;-)

This song makes me teary-eyed. I think of old men sitting in equally old chairs. Gnarled hands folded on their crooked laps, recounting their war experiences to their Grandchildren.

I cant get by a day without listening to it. It;s like a good book, but better.
Polly, your aim to write music to your words to depict England and its history and people has been achieved perfectly
This album is easily in my top 5 off all I have collected over 38 years.
