A veritable Smörgåsbord of Belgian artistry is on display in this celebration of the relationship between music and words. The Het Collectief, a quintet with a reputation for adventurous programming, are joined by two outstanding talents of the opera world: Donatienne Michel-Dansac and Holger Falk, each renowned for their interpretations of both classical and contemporary repertoire. The depth and diversity of Belgian compositional talent will be celebrated, with works by de Jaer, de Putter, Deleuze, Leduc, Fourgon, Simonis, van Parys and Fafchamps in what promises to be a highly memorable event.

From Lima, Peru last night we enjoyed the group´s performance of La histoire du soldat -Stravinsky- and the Trio en La of Brahms. As some friends agreed with me they look and sound very good ensemble, modern, a bit crazy and expresive enough to make the audience feel fascinated with the performance. Our Sociedad Filarmónica de Lima -103 years old- was honored with your visit and hope you felt the same way after your concert.
