In the 80s, fringe political activist Lyndon Larouche proposed an amendment (Proposition 64 in November 1986 and Proposition 69 in June 1988) to the California constitution requiring that AIDS victims be quarantined. Tony Fisch visited Hot Seat to oppose this amendment (I think this clip is from 1988 and not 1986.)

The scary thing is people that think this is totally real and get angry about it lol! Wally was a conservative but hot seat was known for staged antics, actors posing as guests, etc. Basically a sort of political Jerry Springer. Isn't it obvious with how over the top it is? Wally took it to the point where it's almost parody.

This Wally guy is a terrible host. Like just super fucking annoying, why would anyone watch this? AIDS issue aside and all who thought this guy had anything important to say.

@amine9876 Yeah, I totally I agree. There are ppl in the gay community that still are denying their role in the spread of this disease. They also are the most outspoken ones against the LaRouche Initiative which I was for yet they still prance about going in and out of bathhouses like nothing ever happened. They're sick.

i dont get why people that have aids don't want to be quarantined... i mean, are u sick minded enough to WANT to infect other people with AIDS... i mean, just stay away from people that are unaffected by it and thats it! You want us to be miserable with that disease too?...

Is this a parody? I can't tell... The fact that they use the comebacks "Somebody already wiped the floor up with your face" and "You're a sad disease" ?!
And where did they find this hick-town audience?! I was half expecting the audience to start shouting "They took our JERBS!!" and a lil talking towel to fight back with the riposte 'you're a towel.'
Rounding aids sufferers up? And to compare aids victims with murderers? Ridiculous.
