  • ive got an 2009 r6, stock exhaust.. i have to rev it even in first gear to lift it up.. and in second gear? man.. its hard to lift it up.. have to clutch and throttle as hell and still i dont get if off ass often =S=S am i doing this wrong or is the bike just to weak?

i dont like standing and lifting, i really want to get it of just by using the clutch and throttle.. =S u have to rev it insane =S

one of the main reason im thinking of selling my r6 09 and getting an r1 or fireblade

  • @m3g1 Is it an R6 or R6S? Cause the newer R6 is more for the race track and doesn't wheelie as well

  • WOW!!!

  • @KoolAidAnd Well no offense but your friend is lying to you. It's in College Station, TX. Why would someone in Canada have a "saw em off" sticker on the back of their bike? Saw em off is a trademark by a company by Texas A&M University that pertains to the rivalry between Texas University. Nice try on trying to steal my video.

  • @JShnitz Is this out by Calgary? Because my friend's brother lives in Calgary, owns the exact same bike, is the exact same size, and is the rider in the exact same video. Nice attempt at trying to pass this wheelie off as your own though ;)

  • @JShnitz so true, i have an '06 r6 and that thing is a fucking bitch to wheelie. I can get it in second sometimes but really got to rip it. love the bike otherwise tho

  • You may find Russian roulette to be more satisfying... Doesn't cost as much as a bike or put other people in danger either. A win-win all around!

  • @Khack529 Yeah this was my first street bike (Its a 2003, I'm the original owner and still have it), but I used to race motocross so I was already familiar with being on 2 (or 1) wheels.

  • @jakeshist Yeah I had a friend who did the same thing but it actually has nothing to do with the racing internals. The oil pick-up to squirt the oil around the motor is located on the front of the engine on the R6 (back on GSX-Rs, etc) so when you're in a wheelie for too long the engine isn't being lubricated properly.

  • @wsvitak COVER YOUR REAR BRAKE!!!! thats the most important thing, next is start small and work your way up.... dont ride past your skill level.

  • @JShnitz how long have you been riding, did you start on this bike, if not what was your first, thanks in advance dude and thats a beautiful wheelie my friend
