Alrighy, here's the cast and a little background.
Cast:
Nate Newman (Nick Jonas)- The protagonist. He is a new junior at Skyline High School. His dream is become a famous singer-songwriter (and hes really good at it, too).
Alex Russo (Selena Gomez)- One of the few popular nice girls at school, she becomes Nates girlfriend. She truly loves him and supports his dream 100%.
Sam Ryan (Demi Lovato)- Alexs best friend, and has been that way for years. One of the smartest girls in school, Sam has always had a bit of a crush on Shane but never told him so. Although she never has really trusted Nate, Alex cares about him so she does too.
Shane Tyler (Joe Jonas)- Nates best friend. Funny, nice, and outgoing, he and Nate meet when Nate joins the football team. At first, he only liked to annoy Sam, but as the years past, he grew to like her as something more. Shane is one of the schools star jocks.
Jason Newman (Kevin Jonas)- Nates older brother. He went to a college thats about 8 hours of driving away, and even though he and Nate were once very close, he hasnt been keeping up with him since he left for college.
Mrs. Newman (Mrs. Jonas)- Self explanatory. She works a long-hour job and rarely talks with Nate.
Bailey Stewart (Debby Ryan)- A very nice, but kind of plain girl. She could never catch the attention of most people at school. Not pretty enough for the popular crowd, not smart enough for the honors students, not crazy enough for the drama crowd. The only people who did notice herwas the druggies. She came to the parties, and hung out with them at school, but never did drugs. They were just the only people to notice her, so she hung out with them (theres a little bit of self-esteem issues here =^). And that turned out to be a very good thing for Nate
Kylie Taylor: Head cheerleader, and the mean girl of the school. She feels she has a right to be Nate's girlfreind, which doesn't go over well with Nate or Alex.
Introduction:
Nates life was going pretty well. His parents were close, his brother was nicer than he was annoying, and as the star of the football team, he was popular at school. He won the talent show after he played one of his self-written songs. His life couldnt get better, but it could get worse. And it did get worse. Much worse. One day, his dad just packed up and left. No one knew why, and the family was shocked. It was on that day, stunned by his fathers disappearance, that Nate found a couple of beer bottles in the fridge downstairs. He hesitated for just a moment, then downed them both. And pretty soon, the pain went away. Before long, Nate was drinking all the time to get rid of the pain. His football friends noticed, and stopped hanging out with him. His drinking friends pressured him to try harder stuff, but Nate refused, still feeling guilty over drinking in the first place. And then, right before the beginning of junior year, his mom decided that they needed a new start. She wanted to get out of the house that was filled with memories of Nates dad. Since Jason was already at college, it was only she and Nate that moved to Dallas to start their new life. Nate was determined to make a better start this time. He joined the football team again, and met Shane. The two became fast friends. Nate stopped drinking as much, but he never quite stopped altogether. Until he met Alex, that is

Like I said on your channel, you've got a ways to go in this story. We haven't even gotten to the good parts. That'll start around...episode 9...10 maybe? Idk, I have to make them all. =^) And you thought Gossip Girl was dramatic...they've got nothing on me. =^)
