  • @SuperStagg1 yep... that's what your mama said when you came out of her and saw you for the first time...

  • disgusting

  • @nzpyro This is the Maaori flute traditionally made from wood and bone. Koauau have many different designs and materials, hence the variances of the sound." the bone was of bird bone such as albatross or moa; some instruments were also of human bone and were associated with chiefly status and with the cultural practice of utu."(Wikipedia).Koauau belong to the Taonga Puoro traditions. Richard Nunns he is one of the contempory experts of Taonga Puoro. Hirini Melbourne was another

  • @kowhatu Any idea what makes that chilling sound playing in the background, i've heard it for years but never known how it was made.

  • Oh I forgot to add thankyou to the wonderful beautiful soul that took the time to video this footage and share our beautiful ancient indegenous culture with the rest of the wold

    arohanui Kowhatu

  • @kowhatu Maori culture exists only in a ritualised state, it is the invention of modern part Maoris and is the revised, censored remnants of an extinct culture. Your culture from the clothes you wear to the house you live in, to the food you eat and to the language you're using in this forum is a Western European culture.

  • Our culture has survived in spite of the laws that were passed in the 19th and 20th cnetury where our healers were suppressed through a govt act ( Tohunga suppression Act) our language stamped on ( my mother was beaten as a 5 year old for speaking the Maaori langauge at school) and so on. We are intensely passionate about our culture and protect in for our children, many maaori feel as I do, I cannot speak for those ( Maaori or other) that bring shame to our proud spirtual culture and heritage.

  • sweet azz cuzzy! Orsome taiaha presentation...:)
