  • My mistake...this isn't 1987, but also not 1985.I've checked it, and it's for sure 1986 ;)

  • I wish there was more material of her with a traditional orchestra. This show really stands out.

  • That was a great performance.

    What a Difference to today.

  • I agree. her singing in this concert is really nice, shame she doesn't sing more often like this. On the last "orchestra" albums she used her "clown voice" too much, which is distracting from the beauty of the music, and implies she feels unsure about her vocal capabilities.

  • 1987 i have an interwiew from much music asking her about this footage on vhs. i am trying 2 record my vhs goodies on to my computer i will post more nina stuff soon!

  • i love seeing unreleased songs by nina! but for all us hard core fans she all ready has recorded this song on the nunsexmonkrock album on the song iki maska where she sings and screams it out at the same time!haahaha!!!

she also adds a song by the slits and spiders from mars by david bowie on the same track i love it!!!!

  • Yeah, I know about her last two albums... I have Big Band Explosion. :o) I should have restated that it was so rare to hear her with an orchestra at that period in time (IMO her best periods were late 70s and early-mid 80s). She was certainly huge back then, but didn't have as much money, either.

  • Her last two cds were made with orchestras, the last one from 2006 called "Irgendwo auf der Welt" (Somewhere in the world), with german and english Songs like "Summertime", "Somewhere over the rainbow" or "Der Wind hat mir ein Lied erzählt."

  • This is great. Is this concert available to be purchased or is it something you recorded back in the day?

  • your Nina videos are really great Gugon17.

    I always was like :

Oooh, I wish there were some more serious

stuff of Nina, not only the crazy, freaky

    punk stuff...,

and you figured it out to find this kid of

songs and put it on youtube.

    my compliment !
