This wine is 70% Plavac Mali, 25% Marsallane and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.

First the grapes; Plavac Mali is the off spring of Zinfandel (which in Croatian is known as Crljenak Kastelanski) and Dobricic an ancient red wine grape; Plavac Mali primary red grape of the Dalmatian coast; the name is from the Croatian Plavo means blue and Mali means small; a small blue berry grape. Marsallane is a cross between Cabernet Sauvingnon and Grenache.
