Oil out of the tail pipe, and blow by under the oil cap, not to good im thinking...

  • also the car always runs like shit if you open the oil cap or dipstick so thats normal

  • well i found out later that it was a blown turbo. rings are fine. Check the shaft play on the turbo in my other video. Lucky it didnt totally blow up on me.

  • @DANNNNYBOI88 Engines run just fine with the oil cap off, what are you talking about? My ranger runs fine, friend's Saturn Ion runs fine, though it slings oil all over because it's DOHC.

  • there are 2 possible passages for the oil to leak from the exhaust pipe, first is the turbocharger (lubrication of the impeller shaft) second is through a worn oil ring on the piston, since there ain't no noticeable white smoke emissions, try focusing on the turbocharger. hope it helped.

  • Another overated VW. But that engine is ok, does it use lots of oil? If not who cares about blow by.

  • ur engine could have ran like that for quite a while without blowing

  • Your oil cap is going to do that regardless of the condition of your turbo.
