Mount your detector vertically. You'll get WAY more range, especially with low-powered radar like this in the video. Search for Valentine One Vertical Mount on YouTube and you'll see what I mean. The difference between horizontal (standard) and vertical mounting is astonishing. Those videos will lead you to other detector makes/models too being tested vertically too. Hope this has helped :-)

haha that guy passing u is fucked lol nice man, i have a good radar too though I have K band turned off as i get too mad with it going off around town..still dosen't give you very much notice though aye (same with mine)

@pilotgallagher01 yes thats because is a low powered K ban radar the only radar detector that is any good at detecting this type of radar is the Escort Redline which I can't afford right now its with just over a grand.
Not worth having k ban turned on you can see it before you get an alert.

@pilotgallagher01 yea i dont have that much cash eh...long as it detects KA band well (which it does) thats the main thing lol..most of the cameras these days are easy to spot before you could be snapped..except a few which are hidden very well.

@pilotgallagher01 Yes it detects Ka very well off axis as well only down side is it also detects leaky radar detectors on ka 33.4 so I got to keep it on spec display so i know a false one from a real one
