how can you just stand near the beast ?? my 2204 is incredibly loud ... cant stand near it when the master is on 1 ...

nice sound bro I just got myself a 79 super bass and its a fucking kick ass amp. the bad thing is cause its a bass amp i need to install a separate master volume being that i have to turn it up to 8 to get any distortion.

look into a line 6, they can give you nice metal and blues / solo crap sounds without even buying a pedal... check them out

Plexi is a little rawer sounding and obviously all power tube distortion...so the more you turn up, the better. This amp does reach a point at where it doesn't sound much better when turned up past.
