i saw the jam and the who in 81, no stage presence are you sure it was the jam and not "from the jam" foxtons band who are shite.the who and the jam within 6 months,the who first, brought the fuckin house down then i saw the jam and they fuckin rocked the place the 2 best LIVE bands ever. pity young people now as all new music is shite fuck me sorry about the rant but the last great album i bought was the stone roses i still cant beleve you think the jam had no sp man a fuck it

Rhino, you CANNOT be talking about the Jam. Take your confusion the fuck out of here and go get a couple Jam albums. I recommend All Mod Cons and Sound Affects...:-) Cheers from California

@rhinohouse are you sure you are talking about the same band as everyone else? The Jam were one of the most exciting, unpredictable, energetic bands around. To see them live was an up-lifting, exhilarating and inspirational experience. Live, they were a different band from the studio recordings, passionate, loud and edgy! something a studio could never convey in the same way! fire n skill!

I always bought & loved their lp's & singles. But I saw them live & they were so disappointing-no stage presence at all.

I remember seeing this on TV and really looking forward to it, but being embarrassed.

The sound was crap, and lent nothing to how they could be,
