@PaulT1967 and yet, ironically, you've just stereotyped everyone who listens to The Jam! Hmmm....
-
Of course, he was often known as "Wally Weller" because he wasn't as collected or as honest as he wanted to make out. The Jam may have been a great band who composed some classic material, but it riles me when a Middle Class teenager rants on about steretypical privileges and pretends to be on the side of the "dispossessed" even when he's got an absolute fortune. His fans seem to include a lot of inarticulate individuals - which when you think about it, isn't too flattering.

Decent of them to sing about public schoolboys i say - it shows they're open minded and not biased. Well done Jam, and a good song to boot!

I love this song, David Cameron thought it was praise to Eton, but it was the exact opposite, just goes to show how stupid the people running our country are...

@squidvicious27 the term great in great britain....is because in latin....brittany means little britain....harking back to a time when languages like welsh were spoken everywhere
@Hellcat2800 Mate no country is 'great', it's the people within said country which make it the way it is, which is why we're all equal, from England to bloody Somalia! There's nothing special about the 'big, powerful countries', they just played their cards right and won a few wars, so they're the ones in the history books.
Great people come from every country.
