  • The price is justified by a superior design. With thousands of customers in the rear-view mirror, it's well known that you get what you pay for. Why does a Lexus cost more than a Chevy? Who says the price of a Lexus is pure insanity? Do your homework on this product. You'll be pleasantly surprised.

  • blairadio - Not True. Buying brand baseboard heaters will cost far more than our product does. Get a plumber to remove and reinstall new finned tube element plus removing the old covers and nailing in new dummy covers. This labor-intensive job will cost thousands. Our easy slip on solution keeps what works in place while revitalizing only the look of the heaters.

  • Agree with all the comments. Very pricey, but I ran into the same problem as Whitey211 when replacing my old covers. The fins are 3 inches deep, but the slant fin covers I purchased are only 2 11/16 deep. Cost less than $300 for a straight 33 ft. run though. Not hard at all to install either.

  • @saqdaddy The differences between our solution and the "dummy cover" solution are simple:1.) Our product installs in seconds with ease, 2.) Our product looks much more attractive/modern 3.) Dummy covers will rust and will likely get dented easily due to the fact they are made with thin gauge steel and 4.) When labor is factored in, our product; although superior to the dummies, actually costs LESS.

  • I have the 1950's style baseboard heaters and I love them. Why? They are cast iron and stay hot for a long period of time after the heat was off. This new crap is made of lighter material which doesn't retain heat as well as cast iron.

  • My sister has baseboard heating in her rowhome and they actully wrap around corners. Do you have cover/solutions for radiators that size? The home was built in the 50's and its in all the rooms including the bath.

  • Pure insanity on the price. Yeah, I get the labor costing money, but when you DIY labor costs you 0 dollars. that's the whole idea behind diy. So take away your factor on labor and the price is just outragous. They look great, but you really can't justify the price.

  • Cheaper to buy new base heaters.

  • @matt481VS Regular slant fins easy to install? Try a bare minimum of 20 minutes of tedious labor per linear foot. Then put a price on that labor time. The $59.95 will easily hit $200 materials + labor. Oh, and when they start to rust and get dented again (5 years max), you will spend the $200 all over again. Our product lasts a lifetime without the need to replace them. Aesthetics? Just ask your friends which solution is the most attractive.

  • @baseboardheatercover I wish that were true, but regular slant fins, also easy to install, are only $59.95 for 84". They work great. Your covers win on style points, but it's very difficult to justify tripling your budget for them.

  • @matt481VS These slip-on covers cost less than removing the old rusty covers and replacing them with "dummy" covers when you factor in all the labor costs. Same goes for having a painter slap a coat of paint over the old rusty things. You get what you pay for; lifetime warranty on a finish that will not rust, double the thickness of steel to protect against denting and a look that is far more attractive than all the alternatives out there. See for yourself.

  • Looks cool, but pricey! $153 for a 7ft section, not including caps. It would cost a few thousand dollars to replace all my heaters with these things.
