@Jayke1981 Roberts Blossom was also Doc in the film Escape from Alcatraz with Clint Eastwood. He had real talent. Sorry he is gone :(

@Aritul i was watching some behind the scenes stuff, and chris columbus, who directed the film, said the old man wasn't in the original script, but added later to give it more emotion. the pigeon lady in home alone 2, with a very similar scene, is also great. the symmetry used in the second is why i think it works so well
