  • Thanks again for the encouragement sis! Need it!

  • @Lachance8 Glad this encouraged you Sis! Thanks for watching and God Bless!

  • Then it is clear that Paul and the other Scriptures are in agreement with Peter in his second letter, which is his defense of Jude (2 Pet 2,) which by extension is his approval of the Assumption of Moses (2 Pet 2:11), as well as Enoch 1:9, which are included in Jude, as well as Ahikar 7:27 which he of himself quotes in 2Pet 2:22, attributing these same teachings and beliefs to Paul in 2 Pet 3:16-17, as wellas the OTHER Scriptures. This leaves us a complete teaching, a complete doctrine.

  • @Apocryphile1970 The Word of God never passes away. The sacred scriptures bring a deeper understanding of the true character of our Father and His Son Jesus Christ.

  • @InHISWord2 But when the "winds" or "Doctrines" which they were struggling against and straining against, which were "Contrary," and the "Wild Waves of the Sea," these "Infiltraitors" that Jude was talking about, took the Church's focus off the word of God, and so the Church sank into the age. And when Jesus, the Logos, reached out his hand toward the Church and pulled it out, and He got into the boat with them, they immediately reached the other side, which is, of course, the kingdom.

  • @InHISWord2 Jude speaks of men who were infiltrating the Church in his day in v. 3. A little later, in v. 13 he calls them "Wild Waves of the Sea." So if you just take these simple givens and apply them to Jesus' walking on the sea, you get a whole other level of meaning. Jesus (the Word of God) approaches the disciples in the Boat. Peter (the Church) tries to walk out on the sea toward the Word, and as long as the church focuses on the Word, it can transcend the age.

  • @Apocryphile1970 Well, I mean it's just too simple. Paul gives us many keys using simple metaphors: "Wind of Doctrine" "Cloud of Witnesses" "Water of the Word," Therefore, using the simple premise that anytime a simile or metaphor is used in the Scriptures, you can simply take and apply it. In most instances it's just as simple as that. John tells is that Jesus is the Word. Jesus tells Simon that he is "Peter," a rock, and Upon this "Rock" he will build his Church. Peter therefore is the Church.

  • @Apocryphile1970 Parabolic level...whoo that is deep! It seems to me... that I will get one particular word revealed in the scripture and it brings everything into the light! And then I experience this thought "why couldn't I see this before?" It will be so clear.... that I am puzzled as to how it could have remained hidden from me before.

  • @InHISWord2 They do provide the missing pieces, though much of what is missing is just us missing out on what is being spoken to us on the parabolic level. The truth is that virtually all of the information that we need to break free from the curse of Christian tradition lies merely in trusting the Word of God over the word of man. The simple truth is that many of these keys lie in simple metaphors that we would tend to pick up on in songs or poetry, we simply seem to be blind to in the Bible...

  • @Apocryphile1970 The Word of God cannot be contained within a small leather bound book! This equates with placing God into a "box".

Aren't we..... a generation that is able to think, outside the box?

The Holy Bible, as we now know it..... is a "reader's digest" version of the Word of God. The sacred texts of antiquated, and non canonized holy scripture are touted as evil, and yet we know differently! We understand that these books provide the missing pieces of the puzzle...
