The real unemployment rate is actually near double of what they report. And in some places, its double even that. And Obama slams businesses for not hiring, or gives them a piddling little incentive in payroll taxes. The real reason why business aren't hiring, and make no mistake, its business and not the government that creates jobs, it because they have a President who is openly hostile towards them. They can't see a future because Obama is not seeing one with them in it. Businesses are trying to stay open, let alone hire new people.

The REAL unemployment rate in Portland really is 45% at least. I go alot of public places and thousands of people are out during a work day. Thanks for this post of the truth. Our government does not care at all and keeps passing laws that get rid of jobs rather than create them. Obama is not going to do anything. They want people to die off. They want millions to die off for whatever reason. MSI laid me off in 2009 and it was not my falt. Employers think it is my falt and I woke up and did this

Things that happen at the same time aren't automatically cause and effect relationships. You should give evidence that the stimulus bill caused the unemployment versus, say, the recession.

I agree with your point that the health care bill is frightening existing and potential small businesses.

I agree RED, most of the stimulus spending didn't even take place last fiscal year and during this entire recession, while the private sector has been shedding jobs, gov't has been hiring.
